We introduced Widow/Elderly benefits and student grants in 2015, the aim of this is to provide a little bit of support for the more vulnerable people and brilliant but poor students for their betterment by giving cash money each month. We started with 22 widows, 8 elderly people also, 10 poor school children and 10 madrasa students.
In 2017 we expanded this project by increasing to 26 widows, 10 elderly people, however students remained the same. Moreover, in Bangladesh widows are much more at risk and vulnerable which is why we give them more importance to help women empowerment.
2018 – like the previous year we reviewed our project and increased to 32 widow and elderly people and 20 disadvantaged students.
2019 – this year we had 29 widows, 7 elderly people, along with 20 poor students.
